When a tenanted semi-detached property in London needed a heating and hot water upgrade to replace its ageing boiler and cylinders, Keston boilers offered a compact and reliable solution.
The London property required a boiler capable of handling long flue runs with discreet termination so it could remain located in the basement plant room. To meet this need, a Keston Heat 2 45 boiler was installed alongside a 60kW plate heat exchanger.
The plate heat exchanger provides full hydraulic separation between the new boiler and the property’s existing heating circuit, protecting against debris and corrosion while supporting long-term efficiency and reliability.
To provide the building with a dependable and efficient supply of hot water, a Smart E Plus 300-litre cylinder from ACV UK was also specified for its rapid recovery rate.
Installed by Greenheat UK Limited, the system now provides occupants with a modern, efficient and robust heating and hot water system, designed to deliver reliable comfort for years to come.
